Google is shutting instant search down, so you will no longer be getting the suggestions based on your search results.
Instant search was introduced back 2010 after Marissa Mayer a leading search marketing at Google demanded for this feature to be a “Fundamental shift in search,” to save time & make search more efficient for people using it.
The reason behind shutting it down is significant increase in mobile search compared to desktop.
What Google has to say about it
“We launched Google Instant back in 2010 with the goal to provide users with the information they need as quickly as possible, even as they typed their searches on desktop devices. Since then, many more of our searches happen on mobile, with very different input and interaction and screen constraints. With this in mind, we have decided to remove Google Instant, so we can focus on ways to make Search even faster and more fluid on all devices.”
